MOVIE NIGHT

Okay, so today was movie night with the fam. Normally we don't watch movies on Sundays because of school, but tonight was an exception. I was looking in a ChristianBook catalog this morning and saw a new movie called 'Mom's Night Out'. Now a movie like this caught my eye because it was listed with the movie 'Courageous', a Provident Films piece. My family loves their films, so I set out to get it. I saw the trailer and said "yep, that is a family movie". Most movies I bring to the house are not a "hit" because I like action kind of movies (mostly). But we watched it, and everyone LOVED it!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good laugh. :D

So I am currently working to get a new chapter up for
Honor and Respect [Praises and Miracles Sequel]
What I want is to have at least fourteen or fifteen chapters before the book is complete. If I can do that, then I'll be a happy camper.

It's taking me a long time to write today's blog because of how many times I've needed to get up to take care of my dogs. They just won't stop tonight.
I've been working on updates and new chapters, hopefully I will be able to post soon.
(Sherlock voice) I have been contemplating the idea of writing a Sherlock Holmes fanfic on MLEsther (Wattpad). I think it would be fun. But I have to finish some other work before I can think about that. ;)

Hey peeps!
Today I posted the first chapter (or introduction) of my new story Strong[Christian Fiction] and I am quite happy with my pace. My plan is to not post all the chapters at once [I have at least four or five chapters typed] and I want to finish the story before sharing the whole story. Then I will pace my posting so that I am not giving it all away at once. You can click the above ad to go to the story. On another note, I am currently working on those songs for Praises and Miracles
[Honor and Respect]
and on my own I think I am managing to have a melody for the first song. I will do my best to see if I can have a sample of how the song will sound, hopefully the melody will be as original as possible, seeing almost all melodies have been done.  I have added one of my other YouTube links at the bottom. YouTube2 only has one video on it, but that is because I had made that video for a friend to use in church. However, you may go and check it out for future uploads, should there be any. :) And, yes, I know it says Myrtle, but hey that is what I want it to say. YouTube3 is where I used to post my guitar covers, I only ever made three videos. That will be the channel I may possibly upload the songs for the story. Well, that's a wrap! Dios les bendiga!

Okay, so I have been hard at work thinking up original lyrics for my 1D Fanfics

and so far I have two half finished. The image above is fake album cover I made for
1D's 'Christian Album' in the stories. The titles on the cover are the songs that I am working on at the moment.
I also am going to attempt composing the melodies for the songs. . . Maybe and maybe not.

It is court day, and so far, my dad has not allowed me to enter the room. With all the time that I have spent in this waiting room, I have actually decided to change my degree.

The trial passes through the morning. I have officially been sitting here since eight o’clock this morning. Forget about me, my brother must be losing his mind. Brad is not the kind to remain in one room for this long.

“Candice,” says Mom, coming towards me. “You should go home. Your father said to tell you it is too chaotic in there, and it is no place for your inexperience.”

I roll my eyes. “Why did I even come here in the first place?” I ask, picking up my bag.

I stand and start for the main door. On my way out, I bump into Mrs. Hamilton.

“Darling,” she says, smiling as she hands me an envelope. “I found this last night while putting Derek’s possessions into storage. It is addressed to you.”

“Thank you,” I say, smiling back. “I’m sorry that you are leaving. It will not be the same.”

“Perhaps we will see each other again, and you can come see me in Scotland.”

I hug her. “I would love to.”

After saying goodbye to Derek’s mom, I go out to the parking lot. I get into Derek’s car and look at the envelope for a moment. I open it and pull out the letter to read.

My dearest Candy-girl,
If you are reading this, it probably means I have returned to Scotland, or something has become of me. Words cannot express the love I have for you, but as you know, I have a higher love for God in Heaven. There were times you did not understand it, but you were so eager to know. I encourage you to seek a relationship with God. Learn to know Jesus as your everything. He is the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. I urge you to seek Him, my darling. Your life will change forever if you do this. God wants you to love and obey Him.
I love you, my Candy-girl.
Always yours, Derek.
P.S. Sometimes God will take away what you most care about to get our attention.

So, I have decided to give you a sneak peek at one of my upcoming stories: Scarred Hearts [Christian Romance] This is a story that I discontinued around two years ago, due to the fact I could not go on when the story was getting off track. So I deleted it, but recently I pulled it out again and have been fixing it. 
Here is the sneak peek -

I was ten years old when my heart condition truly began to take effect in my everyday life. I was getting tired faster, I had more energy than a boy my age would normally have, and at times, my body would just pass out. Though I was able to channel my energy and use it to my advantage, it never lasted more than a couple hours. My parents thought it was just because I was growing, but when they finally decided to take me to the doctor, their perspective changed. My heart was bigger than it should have been for my age, and my body was not functioning properly. My parents did not know what to do. Going to the doctor was not something we did. However, they persisted and chose natural ways of managing my health. My twin brother, Matt, did not have to suffer as I did. By the time we got to high school, he could do anything he wanted and not worry about passing out. Me, on the other hand, though I was playing soccer at the top of my class, I had to be careful not to push myself more than I had too.

I loved soccer, it was a way for me to escape and not think about what was going on inside my chest. Playing soccer helped tone down the majority of the pain I would feel when I was sitting still. Sitting in class was difficult and my teachers often sent me to the nurse’s office often. Few students in school knew about my condition. My soccer team knew about it; this was the only way they could stop me when they saw me at my limit.

I rarely went to parties because of my condition. My parents knew that staying out late would only make it worse. If I were to do anything harmful to myself, who knows how long I would have lasted.

It was not until I had graduated that I knew my condition needed care. When I turned twenty-one, I convinced my parents to let me get a heart transplant. I did not know what the side effects would be, but it was a risk I was willing to take.

Typing is . . . I would not say a challenge, but it is quite repetitive. You constantly looking at the paper you are typing from, typing, clicking the backspace button when you see that you have made a mistake, and changing fonts and all that. However, if you don't type, you don't get the work done.   I have posted a new story description yesterday.
