Learning the Ways of the Trade

Good morning all! It seems I am writing this post the night before, because I know I will not get to sit down with everything that is going to take place.

My younger siblings (to be specific, the choir) are leaving for the week to film a cover video. K is the director and they even have a film-crew. So that is what they will be doing. I, on the other hand, along with select members of the family, will be remaining at home. The good part of that is I will get to use my laptop a little more. Because my sister (the one who uses it) is going with the choir.

I have posted a new chapter to Pictures of You, and I have a few new chapters already in drafts. I have made myself a posting schedule, so I will be posting weekly. I have been moving fairly quickly with this book, and I must say that I have never been so satisfied with a plot before. It is just flowing so well! I just hope the people who read it will have the same reaction that I do when I write it. I laugh, I cry. I throw my pillow at the wall, the whole nine yards.

All of last week, I have been writing up a storm. I just have a massive flow going and nothing has stopped it. I have been TRYING to catch up with my reading, as I have many books that I am reviewing. As well as book blitzes, but those are scheduled posts.

I was watching this video after dinner, "last night". It was self-publishing and I am helping my sister study on that and how to build a platform. Most of that stuff I already know and have been doing over the past year. So, in a manner of speaking, I would be able to do it myself. But I don't know if I will yet. For now, I help my sister.

Well, that is all for now. God bless you, and I will see you all next time. BYE!

Hard at Work!

Good morning lovelies! For the last few days, I have been busy around my house, taking care of home business, and also working hard on my book(s) and my book blog! Speaking of my book blog, I have a new review up for I Am Titanium by John Patrick Kennedy, SUCH A GREAT BOOK!

Now, onto business. On my other Wattpad account, I am working on writing a sequel to my Little House on the Prairie fan-fiction. One of my readers over there asked if I would think about writing another story like that, and I thought 'Why not?'  So, I posted the first chapter and I am working on the next chapter. Click HERE to read.

Though I will be working on that (on the side), I am not going to halt my writing for Pictures Of You, as I now have two chapters sitting in drafts and will be posting them on a schedule. xD I am very happy with where I am headed in that book, and I hope the people reading it are enjoying it.

Well, that is all for today. I will be back soon, God bless you all. Bye!

A Work of Art! (Self Promo)

Pictures of You
Christian Fiction

Hadassah Harper

"Remind us all of what we used to be . . ."
Ebony Zaveri met Merick when she had moved to Princeton, New Jersey. He liked to walk on the wild side, but she knew there was more to him than he was letting on. Growing up with him made life a roller coaster. Merick brought out Ebony’s fun side. Raised in a Christian home, she would share her beliefs with Merick, and he would listen. Merick Balin has one goal in life: Prove to his parents that he can be the man they raised. Not only did he accept Christ into his life, but also he was no longer the trouble-making teenager he once was. The only friend he was ever allowed was Ebony Zaveri, and even she was not allowed to be around him. Merick had known Ebony since middle school. She is his best friend, and the only one who had not gone running when everyone else did. Can the two keep their friendship intact when troubles come their way? Will Meick and Ebony look to God for a solution?
Wattpad

You all know that I have been working on this new book, and I am happy to say that I have come up with the final scene already. However, I am not going to reveal my final plans, because I think you all should check it out for yourself. I have three chapters posted, and a fourth undergoing editing.
I have three covers for this book, the one you see above was made by myself, and I have two more that I got from other Wattpad artists.

I was looking around ALL OVER the place yesterday for a tutorial on how to make the "If I Stay" style cover, and I have to say that the ones I did find were . . . complicated. I watched the tutorials and when i decided the method was too overbearing for me, I came up with my own method! See the gif below to watch the cover come to life!

The other covers I have are the following:

I really like these covers and I am doing a weekly rotation so that they have a fair amount of showcasing. Be sure to check out my book blog! New posts have gone live over the past few days!
God bless you all, and I will see you soon!

Brownies!!!

Good morning! A week has gone by, and I miss posting twice daily, but I have noticed that there was not must to tell from last week.

A few days ago, I placed my B&N order. The Books of the Infinite are on their way. I had one other book in the order, but the price changed right as I placed the order. But that is okay, I can get it next time. Tomorrow I will learn if I won an Amazon GC (from a blog scavenger hunt I participated in a few weeks ago. I have a feeling I will be one of the winners, there were a lot of GC prizes.

I am working on my stories right now, so I will be back soon. God bless you!

Tech Support: That Would Be Me.

Good morning all! I hope you are all well. I am just giving you guys some updates as to what I am doing in my "absence" as I have not posted much for a few days. But things are looking up and I hope to have my balance under control soon.

I have been working on getting my other stories (on Wattpad) running again. I posted a new chapter to my Christian fantasy book: Spirit Warrior: A Dying Breed - CLICK HERE

I have written (literally) six new chapters for my book Change of Heart - CLICK HERE

And I have managed to work more on Pictures of You - CLICK HERE

I must say that I am happy with where I am planning to take Change of Heart, as it is coming out awesome. New plot twists and all. Pictures of You as I have often said, it is about friendship, but I am thinking about turning the corner somewhere, as I am inspired by some awesome Tumblr quotes. (CLICK HERE TO SEE) And I think there might be a plot twist, maybe the guy will secretly like his best "girl" friend. I don't know! I am just throwing ideas into the air at the moment, but I think it will all work out great.

Check out my book blog! I have posted almost every day for nearly two weeks straight. I am hosting a giveaway that ends soon, and I still have NO ENTIRES. The entries are simple, there is only one required entry, the others are just there to give you a better chance at winning. CLICK HERE

I am also my step-mom's tech support. Because she does not know MP3 from MP4. *shrugs* Honestly, I do not know what they will do without me.

Well, I hope this post finds you all in good health and spirit. I shall return soon. May God bless you and protect you. See ya!

I Cannot Believe I Am Doing It.

Remember the journal I like to just put my ideas in? (I think I mentioned it before) The one with the ongoing, never ending story? Yeah, that one. I wrote it out into one of the sites I write on . . . It is getting some massive readings, no feedback at the moment, but it's being viewed. If you would like to see this poetic short story, CLICK HERE.

I have been away from almost everything lately, but I am trying to keep a healthy balance with all that I do, and making more time for things that do not include the WWW or my laptop. I have caught up in some reading already, and I have been doing things around the house. Everything is working out for the best.

I have received some great feedback on Scarred Hearts, and lots of people really like the new chapters I posted. I am also working on Change of Heart, Pictures of You, and Spirit Warrior: A Dying Breed. If you are not familiar with these stories, click on the Wattpad button-page at the top of this blog.

Several book reviews have gone live in the past few days. I am also hosting a giveaway!!!! Prize provided by the author. CLICK HERE if you would like to win a book!

That is all for now. God made you special, and He loves you very much. Bye!

Blogging, Writing, Reading, Books!

Good morning! As previously mentioned, I have to make a few changes to help balance out my Internet life and my home life. I have decided that as I gradually make the changes, I will maintain weekly posting schedule until I get things back in order.

I have a few new (scheduled) posts that will be going live this week. Along with a few book reviews. Be sure to check them out.

I read almost all of my Amazon book order, just one left. I have not been able to place my B&N order yet. I am still waiting for the gift card to be sent to me. And let me not forget to mention (what I have already said) Scarred Hearts is complete! Click the page above to read!

Oh, back to the new posts on my book blog. I have a giveaway that I am hosting, prize provided by the author in honor of the book blitz. Yes, I get to run the rafflecopter and choose the winner at random. So, be sure to visit Haddie's Haven on the 15th!

Well, I have floors to clean. I will see you all soon. God bless you!

Switching Things Up.

I have decided to switch things up a bit on this blog. I have to make some changes to my every day schedule, which involves changing the times I will get to post. There may come the possibility that I will not get to post more than once a day, or even just a couple times a week. I have to catch up with a lot in my everyday life, and it may be that this blog could be interference. But that does not mean that I will not continue.

Blogging these past few months (this past year) has been fun, and I do not think I would give it up that easily. Granted, life has been busy, but I have managed it well enough until now. There are just some things that cause me to make some changes. I will post when I can, and just compile everything into one awesome post (depending on when I can post).

I posted my epilogue this morning, due to the needed changes I will be making. The book is complete, I received the acceptance message from Harlequin (via Wattpad) that my story had been entered. Now, all I must do is watch and wait.

God bless you all who pass by this blog. I hope you are in good health, and I shall see you all again soon. Ciao!

My Eyes.

Honest and reliable brown eyes have hidden depths

Brown eyes are associated with honesty and reliability, but there's much more to brown eyes than that. Brown-eyed people often figure in songs and stories as adorable and desirable lovers and in a quiet way they are very aware of the secrets that make up their own attraction. Brown-eyed people are excellent hosts and love making people feel welcome and at home. How Eye Colour Reveals The Diversity And Vibrancy Of Our Temperaments
They are practical and strong minded, skilful in creating beautiful things as well as warm atmospheres. Brown eyed people are faithful and true, but never let them down if you have promised something. They can be very unforgiving if someone does not live up to their word, which is not surprising given their own dependability and loyalty. They believe that trust is possibly the greatest asset a person can have and once it's gone, it's gone. It's worth remembering that although they love the company of other people they are perfectly capable of organising their own lives and being independent.

CHICKEN!!!! xD I'm Making CHICKEN!

So, if the title of this post were not obvious enough, I am making chicken for lunch today. I have to start in 10 minutes.

I'm good to go this morning. Scarred Hearts is no longer on my mind. I'm so happy! xD

Okay, I'm done fangirling!

Interesting Enough

I am watching some of the older videos on Book Nerd Paradise, I CANNOT BELIEVE NO ONE COMMENTED ON THIS VIDEO! THE BOOK WAS NEVER GIVEN AWAY!

Anyways, I finished my epilogue this morning. But I do not plan to post it until next week, seeing I just uploaded a chapter this week.

I am still annoyed that no one commented on that video! The guest author is February Grace from Wattpad! \o/ The video is from June 22, so I doubt my comments from today would do anything for me. But her work is amazing! (I wonder . . .)

Anyways, I am free to work on any of my other books, as I no longer need to work on Scarred Hearts. I posted my first chapter to Pictures of You, so I am very happy about that. CLICK HERE to check it out.

I'm much better now, then I was this morning. The pain is completely gone, thank the Lord.

I'm off to Creative Land. God bless you all and I will see you tomorrow!

Not Myself

Good morning everyone. If this post does not sound or look as bubbly as usual, you can probably guess from the title that I do not feel too well today. Either I slept weird in the night, or it is something else, it doesn't hurt as much as a little while ago. I just had, like, weird jabbing pangs in my chest. Very weird. But I had my dad pray for me, so all I have to do now is believe that God healed me. Done with that.

So, I am going to try and work on my epilogue today. I want to get it back up ASAP, because my posting schedule has been going great and I don't want to hit a bump.

I am trying to make changes in the music I listen to, personal choice. I just found several Christian artists that I have never heard of before, and I like their music. So I am going to try and listen to that more often.

Well, it has been one hour of me sitting here, trying to write this post. There is a lot going on this morning (not really, but a lot) and I'm just trying not to double over. So, I will see you all later. God bless you!

Weird Day

I have a feeling my sister is going to need to take another Sunday to do her work. Today she went to OfficeMax to print her manuscript, and is still not home yet. She and my parents left after lunch this afternoon. It is now . . . 5:55pm. I have been so busy today, doing favors for family members and writing and whatnot, that I feel that my sister is going to have to be open to what I have to say. Because I cannot give up my laptop now! I mean, to be nice, I would, but I can't. I'm just feel pressed for time and I have a lot I want to get done before tonight's prayer fast meeting.

Most of my creativity comes at night, and with this week and some changes that are being initiated, I feel that I might get much time. It's been a weird week.

My never ending short story . . . I have chosen to post it on Miss Literali, and I managed to add so much to it. Though it is more of a poetic story.

My sister just got home. Time to see if we can face the music.

God bless you. Check out Haddie's Haven. I posted 2 reviews today. Take care, and see you soon!

Choir Rehearsing

Freezing cold showers! xP Definitely not what I had in mind, but the water heater is broken for six months now, so I gotta deal with it.

So, I think I have mentioned that my younger siblings are a choir. Well, they are rehearsing right now, to keep in practice in the event that they are invited somewhere. I love hearing them sing.

Well, this morning I am going kind of slow. I am trying to catch with some reading, because I promised this author I would read his book, and that was last week. It's a great storyline, I hope to post my review ASAP. I think everyone should read this book. More on that in my review.

It's been a weird morning, but I have to say that I loved my cheese toast. Which I have another one somewhere, I gotta eat it before someone else does!

See you later! Ciao!

Quick Post

I'm about to go to evening-family prayer. Today was a weird day. I wrote a lot, revised my epilogue a bit. Yeah, and listened to music, and read a Saved By The Bell comic book (halfway). So, yeah. that was today. I will see you all tomorrow. God bless. Bye!

Plans For This Week

Good morning daily readers! I am currently taking an Amazon.com survey, but I had to get this post up. Let's talk about this week's plans for my blog(s), books, etc.

As you all know, I finished my final bonus chapter for Scarred Hearts, which means I have completed the book almost three weeks before the deadline to be applicable. I am so excited to have completed the book in time. This week I will be revising the original epilogue, to have it match the new chapters.

With the completion of Scarred Hearts, I now have more time to put into my other books that I have not touched in a while. As previously mentioned, I will be working on my story Change of Heart (originally know as Strong). And I will be working extra hard on my new book idea, Pictures of You.

I have several new e-ARCs that I have requested via NetGalley, but I am not going to read them until I finish a few on my currently-reading list (which is listed on the sidebar). I still have time for a few that are in my list, because those deadlines are not until middle of October or November. So I am taking slight advantage of that time to finish the books that have deadlines this month.

Well, that is all for now. I have to go look in the kitchen for something to eat and what to make for lunch. I did not get to eat breakfast this morning, and someone ate my piece of bread I was saving!

See you all later! Ciao!

Mission Completion! (Little Einsteins)

I finished and posted my chapter today!!!! xD I did it! I wrote a 55K+ novel! I mean, I did it over time, but I finished it!! All I have to do now is revise my epilogue to fit the new chapters, and all shall be well!

I changed the title of my book Strong to Change of Heart. I think it fits the story better and the original title does not go with where I am now headed. I am still headed in the same direction as when I started the book last year, but the title just was all wrong now. I might change it again, but I think the new title works.

I am almost done with the first chapter of my new book Pictures of You, which is going to be awesome! If anyone is familiar with the new Entangled imprint Crush, then you will know that this book was slightly influenced by those kinds of books. Each chapter switches point of views, and it will be light-hearted, but it will go deeper, below the surface.

Ever have a best friend that suddenly could no longer be around you. How would you feel to lose a best friend? Whether that best friend moved away, or died? I would lose it. I don't have that BFF at the moment, but I know it would kill me inside. I'm very loyal. Possibly too loyal, even to those who are not as loyal as myself.

Well, I've got some stuff to do. I must bid thee all farewell. May God bless you!

Final Day Of Writing - #Harlequin #SYTYCW15 #LoveInspired

Good morning! I am full of chicken and bread and avocado and egg. I'm full until lunch and I am revving to go write! I did not get to finish my chapter last night, too tired, but I am working on it now.
I'm listening to my weekly Book Nerd Paradise video on YouTube, which is a really cool channel and they now have a podcast on iTunes! There is a weekly giveaway, an author read-aloud, and a trivia question. The channel is led by YA Fantasy author, L.R.W Lee. I own two of her books and I have not read them yet, but I love the videos and she posts book reviews on her website (lrwlee.com)

K stayed the night, and just returned from a jog with three of my siblings (one of which I am surprised even went along).

Well, I've got work to do. I will be seeing you all later and be sure to check out my work and book blog (new post went up this morning). See you soon!

#SYTYCW15 Book Near Completion!

I am so happy right now, I could cry. Scarred Hearts is literally so close to being finished right now. I cannot even believe it. I mean, I can, I finished the book once before. I never thought I would add more to that book, but I love that I was able to work on it some more. I cannot wait for the next round of the contest to take place. I just know I am going to be in the top fifty books chosen. I just know it!!

K and two of my siblings are singing to 1D's What Makes You Beautiful!! xD Well, they were, until my younger brother turned of the radio. LOL Now they are making the piña coladas. Now we've got

So, I know I will finish this chapter tonight, because I only 1k more words left. Which means I will get to work on my new book and on Strong. I have quite a bit planned for Pictures of You, it is going to be so awesome and heart wrenching. Who has a best friend? That is what it is about. Best friends, (no they do not turn to lovers, because that will take away from where I am headed).

Merick and Ebony's friendship is going to be epic, and it is going to make all of you appreciate your friends and family more. I am being influenced by some of the romance books I have been reading lately, but applying it to best friends. I know that I am already starting to appreciate them more.

Anyway, I am going to go now. I want to finish this chapter, and get my drink. God bless you all. See you tomorrow!

Dad's Birthday!

So, today is my dad's Bday celebration. We've got quite a few things planned, hopefully he does not suspect anything. K is bring Piña Colada (virgin) fixings over later today. And tomorrow my mom's friend is bringing over a cake that she made. We also have some kind of chocolate dessert for today.

I wrote a lot last night, while watching the movie. Yes, I managed to focus and laugh at the same time. It helped, because now my Scarred Hearts main dude is fully recovered, or at least he is recovering.

I read 3 books yesterday! When Dad heard me say that, he says: "Congratulations! You read 3 books today? That's how many I read in my lifetime!" That's actually quite funny, I know my dad has never been much of a reader. Not so much my mom either. My sister (the one writing a book about our life) was the one to get me hooked on reading. She just handed me one of her books one day, and I was sold.

I have come to the conclusion that once I finish this next chapter for Scarred Hearts, I will not need any further chapters. Just my original epilogue. I will have completed my goal! xD #SYTYCW15 has officially become the greatest challenge I have ever taken on, aside of my Goodreads 2015 reading challenge (which is back at the original number of books I had wanted to read this year, but it is likely to go up again).

Well, that is all for now. I've gotta go. I want to get a little more writing in before I go to morning prayer. See you all later!

Saturday Movie Night

Hey everyone! Please forgive me not posting anything this evening. Right after dinner I ran out with one of my step-moms to get some movies for my dad's birthday.

I am wrapped up in the movie right now. So see you in the morning!

The Art of Imagination

Good morning! I must say that last night I had full flow in writing Scarred Hearts, but it was not enough to get to 4.5k in the chapter. I think I will stop after this chapter, fix the epilogue and boom! I shall have a 55k+ novel complete.

I know that I said I would start typing up the new chapters for Strong, but such inspo for the new book idea! . . . . I've got half the first chapter written, and in my computer. Yeah, I worked on it a lot.

EntangledPub. . . . They have quite the selection to read on NetGalley. One book in particular that I am reading this week . . . It's not my usual Crush book, but it is interesting. I'm pushing my reading limits with this one. I mean, hey, three single brothers from another planet? Interesting. Okay, that is all I am going to say, because I have a review coming up.

Well, this is my morning post, because I've got lots on me brain, and I would like to put them into action. I will see you later!

I'm A Dollar Short

So, as it turns out, (because me and my dad share the same iTunes account) he used a buck of my giveaway earning to buy more storage space on iCloud. >.< But you see, my dad does not truly understand how it all works. And the reason I have not used the $15 yet is because everything I have gotten so far has shown up in his phone. YIKES! So. . . I bought 1D's new single, another song by Kurt Hugo Schneider. I also meant to by the second book in a series I already have on my dad's iPhone (shh! He does not know how that works, and he does not even open the app!) but I purchased book 3 instead :S. But that is alright, I am going to be purchasing the complete series in paperback as soon as I get my B&N GC. Which I won! xD

Anyways, that has been on my mind today, but I think I am over it. And Kurt's voice is like honey.

Okay, I'm done. But these gifs do not do my sentiments justice. CLICK HERE if you wish to know why I am . . .

Okay, I have a chapter to write. See you all tomorrow. God bless you, and have a lovely evening/day/afternoon, wherever you are. :)

Merick and Ebony - Character Developing

Good morning! I get to reading Crossing the Ice by Jennifer Comeaux!!! XD I've been participating in many of her book release blitzes and cover reveal over the last couple weeks, and now I get to read the first book in the series!! xD
So, last night, though I was working hard on Scarred Hearts, I chose to develop my characters for my new fiction Pictures of You. The title might not make sense at the moment, but later on in the story (because I wrote my layout) it will all fall into place why I chose that title. Also, I was listening to the song while trying to think of a title. Anyways, Merick's character is already developed in my head and in my layout, but Ebony needed to be worked on a little bit too.

I decided to base Ebony on myself, but she is going to be my total opposite, looks-wise. That is why Sasha Piertese is the perfect pick, because she's blonde and has light eyes (I have dark brown eyes and brown hair). She's is to be kind, bubbly, sweet, and full of compassion for certain things in life.

Merick is to be similar to that, but he's got a bit of a wild side to him. Because Merick is based on three people (looks and split personalities), it would make sense to me. I think Merick will be a very lovable character. But you will have to wait until later this month to learn about him. :D

That is all for now. It is Friday, and as usual, I must go look in the fridge and see what I can make for lunch. I will see you all later! Be cool, stay in the pool! Ciao!

Imaginative Brain At It's Best - Might Be Too Much!

So, I've been at work all day. No, I did not get off at 2pm, like I would normally. My sister asked to switch today and work on Sunday. That works for me. Because I managed to finished reading a book and work on the review (which will be posted later this month, due to it being part of a blog tour).

I've got this idea . . . a new book idea. I have the same strong feeling to write it that I did when I started Scarred Hearts a few years back. This idea is not quite like Scarred Hearts, but it is very close and similar. Because one of the characters is based on three people I know all wrapped into one. It's not a romance. It is about friendship. Christian fiction, of course. It is going to be a nice, CLEAN read, and hopefully enjoyable for everyone.

Now, I know that I should keep what time I have left to finish Scarred Hearts, but I just had to get this new idea down and going, because it is too good to forget. I might be adding too much to my plate again (I mean, I've got ten books that I am reading and with the #SYTYCW15 writing deadline). I know I can do this. And it is just putting the idea into a layout so that I can work on it later.
I even have a cast already! I have several characters worked out, but my main characters are who I am most worried about. Hopefully you will not be confused by this gif. Because there is not supposed to be a romantic feel in this book.
Meet Ebony Zaveri and Merick Balin (I actually searched names for them, and they work for me.)

I'm going through a massive Booboo Stewart phase . . . Yeah, that might explain why he's the main character. And I stumbled onto this photoshoot while looking for appropriate pics for a cover. Which I am not working on as much, because I don't know if I am settled on the title yet.

I have more worked out than most would think. And that gif, Ebony and Merick are only teens there. They are actually in their twenties in the book. But there are no other images of these two together, and they are the cast I see in my head.

I don't think I have ever read a book quite like what I am planning to write, but I have a strong feeling that it will be amazing. It's about something that I enjoy and it works in my head. And I feel a little inspired by all the Entangled (Crush) books that I have read over the last few weeks, and I am going to try and adapt that style into my writing, see how it goes. Which means each chapter changes between point of views. I might even make it go back in time when it comes to one of the characters, I don't know. This is just a brain fart right now. But the moment I start t actually work on it, I will be rambling away to you about it. I mean, guy/girl best friends are epic, but this book will have a twist.

Anyways, I am going to get back to Scarred Hearts now. The book has 4.2K reads on Wattpad! XD

See you all tomorrow. As this will be my final post of the day. God bless you and keep you safe. Adios!

When Your WiFi Acts Like A Butt, Wait It Out

Yes, good morning! I must apologize. It has been a crazy morning. My internet was not working this morning and when it did, I was rushing to catch up on some things that had to be done on my book blog. (Cover reveal happening over there, CLICK HERE)

I am nearly done with one of my review copies, and I am so glad! I read several chapters while waiting for the net to get back up. I KNEW HE WOULD FIGURE IT OUT! No, I am not going to say anything, and I am going to try and keep my review for that book as non-spoiler as possible.

I am so eager to get to writing today. I decided to use my discomfort from yesterday to my advantage, and I made one of the main characters fall ill. Don't worry, it won't be fatal. It's part of the experience when you read it. (Speaking of that, you can now click on the link above to go directly to the story)

I'm done for now. I have a post a day over the last few days on my book blog!

Ciao!

Crappy Day Gone Good

So, today was kind of crappy. Here is why:

Ladies, you all probably have heard this term. Well, I use it constantly. Aunt Flo decided to visit and will be here the entire week. Then she will leave and return next month. Yes, that is what it is.

I did get some writing in before I collapsed on my bed in agony. I wrote . . . IDK maybe 500 words, or less. I am on the right track, and I am going to stick to my few extra chapters. 55-60K words is a better bet, and I am nearly there.

I still am not at my full 100% self yet, but I am not sprawled across my bed like I was earlier. By tomorrow I will be back tomorrow. It's just my pattern.

Well, I am going to end this here, because I want to catch up on the lost time. God bless you all. You're awesome, see tomorrow.

Not Bad For A First-Half School Week

Good morning! Well, I just sat down in my workspace, after taking a few minutes to read with one of my six year old brothers. Let's call him Miah, as I have too many brothers with a name that starts with J, and I do not want to get J mixed up with all my bros, as i have already posted about him.

I will be writing some more today. I can't bring myself to stop for three days like I did last time, as the deadline is going to come up fairly quickly. Scarred Hearts is going to be so awesome when it is finished. I just have that strong feeling that I might get to see it in paperback one day. Who would have thought that I would change my mind about becoming a published author? :)

In the midst of writing, I also have to finish those three (four) books by the middle of September. They cannot be pushed off right now. I have a few for mid/end of October, and those are the ones that I am reading at my personal leisure.

Last night, I opened up my manuscript (the one that does not really need to be worked on at the moment) to edit it a bit. I did change it, just added or took away from unnecessary sentences. I also had to fill in some words, because they were missing. Thanks, Dyslexia, you're a trump.

My book is now at 51K words. I had plans to write a few more chapters, giving a count of 25, not including the introduction and epilogue. I have 22 chapters right now. I think I am going to stick to my plan for 25 chapters, and I don't care if the word count goes higher than 55K. I mean, I saw that as the least amount for the Harlequin imprint I am entered under. I keep looking back at the FAQ's and the imprint description to try and keep a clear vision of what I am aiming for. I might just email the support team again, with my new list of questions, because I just want to be completely clear.

Well, that is all for now. I have to get to work on my book. I will see you guys later!

P.S. I never said anything about it being a new month, but hey, I don't need to remind you right? :)

Reading With My Brother, D

My younger siblings are having a reading challenge at home, to start off the school year. My mom's youngest son, D, is reading next to me, so I am helping him pronounce words he does not know. I finished my zombie quartet yesterday, epic!

If you look to the sidebar >>> you will find my currently-reading list. I still have a few that can wait until later this month, some that I am already further into than others, but it's all good. I've only got three that need to be read this week. So, I am going to be reading those.

I did not get to finish my chapter last night, so I am working on that now. I'm not giving up. Camels don't give when they have a load they cannot carry, so why should I give up? :)

Book blitzes are going live on my book blog, so go check them out! Giveaways, courtesy of the author (and the coordinators) and I have another one going live in an hour. I think you might find an new, interesting read!

Well, that is all for now. I gotta get back to writing. See you on the flip-flop later!
