The WriMo Blog

The WriMo Blog is a place where I, Esther Hadassah, share what I am working on during a Writing Month. I will also share some writing tips and tricks based on my experience. Hi! I'm Esther Hadassah, a writer/blogger with ten years experience in writing stories of fiction. I have uploaded my stories to Wattpad, Inkitt, SwoonReads (when it around), and serialized sites such as Tapas. I aspire to become a self-published author. I have queried unsolicited submissions in the past, but didn't find the path to traditional publishing to be the way for me. I write fantasy and sci-fi adventures under the name E. S. Elias. And sweet, wholesome romance under Esther Elias. I also have a suspenseful-romance pen-name, but I don't bring it up very often.

When Prince Oskar decides to disguise himself and goes out into the village to see what the people are like, he is met with a shocking sight. There are orphaned children in the streets, beggars at every corner, and people fighting for their next meal. The kingdom of Unara has never seen poverty and the royal family looks out for the people. Why is this village struggling? As Oskar returns every day, he befriends one of the village's deformed members. A young woman with multiple scars on her face. Taking pity on her, the prince gives her one of the rings on his fingers, intending for it to bring her a better life. However, the woman is soon arrested for being in possession of this ring and Oskar knows she is innocent. Until he discovers she possesses a ring with the Unaran royal crest. This is not the ring he gave her.

Trusting in Faith (A Hearts of Gold Novel)

Kari Johnson is being raised in a group home. She likes to keep to herself, and rarely speaks to anyone. Until she meets Jake Harper. They strike up a friendship, becoming allies in times of trouble. Just when they think not everything is as bad as it seems, Kari gets pregnant and her world becomes a little more complicated. Becoming teenage parents is not the plan, but Kari and Jake choose to take it in stride. Follow Kari and Jake as they learn to put their trust in God and hold firm to their faith. Trusting in Faith is a standalone, coming of age, wholesome romance about keeping faith through hard times, with a dash of cheesy romance. There is no cliffhanger, is HEA guaranteed. Romance level: Sweet, fade-to-black with mild on-screen kissing.

Prince in Disguise (A Short Story)

Leena is the daughter of the most wealthy farmer in the Drischire kingdom. Her life is simple, yet full. Prince Jonathan is the only remaining heir to the throne. He's loved by many, but one misfortune leads to the biggest mistake he's ever made in his life. He flees and comes to meet a wonderful girl. Yet, he feels he does not deserve her attention. When it comes time for Jonathan to face his fears and correct his mistake, he leaves Leena with the promise of his return. And a promise of marriage. Will Leena lose hope and fall for the new farm-hand her father hires? Or did Jonathan ever actually leave? Prince in Disguise is a romantic fantasy short story in the Anerathia Chronicles. There is NO CLIFFHANGER and is HEA guaranteed. While this book is part of a larger series, readers can enjoy the story on its own.
