When I planned my days for writing, I took Sarra Cannon’s tips and gave myself some buffer days. Days where I might not get to write a single word—work days, sick days. Days when I might be going out with friends. Stuff comes up, and I have learned how to keep my schedule flexible.
I left Wednesday, February 12th, open because I had a potential cleaning job. However, my body had other plans. I ended up spending the day in bed with a migraine. But I made up for in the next day and wrote double the number of words that I had on Tuesday, Feb. 11th. Bringing my project total to 9,000+ words!
This means that I have passed my March word count goal. I do not remember writing this much last year. In fact, I think paced myself. However, given the reward I want to give myself, I think I going fast because I don’t know how much longer the box will be available at the website. So … I am really hoping to get it soon.
I know my blog(s) mainly focuses on my writing progress and such, but I thought I might give stationary a try via my YouTube channel. I have a few channels, that I tried to start so many times in the last decade. I don’t know… We shall see.
At the time of writing this update, not only do I have 5 chapters posted, but I have submitted my first 2k words to the Round-1 submission form. Which means I cannot touch those first 2 chapters and make changes. And I currently have over 140 reads! As far as Wattpad stats go, that’s pretty decent. But the numbers usually take a couple of days for numbers to update. I’ve been on Wattpad a long time, I see it all.
And for anyone who is curious, I did switch my cover for a while. But my readers have loved the classic-inspired cover more than the one above. So… I might need to update TGwS so they match…
Anyway, to wrap-up everything: It was a decent writing week. I made a lot of progress. Outline-wise? Well… writing my novellas, I combine some story beats so I don’t go overboard. So, I am in the “Break into Two” and “B Story” beats, the start of Act-2. — Bit of a self-realization here. That’s pretty awesome!
I hope your writing is going well. Remember, getting words to the page is still progress. Even ten words is more than what you have before.
Thank you so much for dropping in. Stay safe, and stay awesome. See you in the funny papers!
