Puppy Kicks! (3rd post attempt)

Okay, this is LITERALLY the third time that I am trying to post this. 3rd time is the charm.

My dog Bella is due to have her puppies this week (give or take) and so they have finally started to move around! Bella was sitting almost on top of my foot the other day, and they were just kicking my foot so much! I cannot wait for them to arrive. I am going to try and not get attached to them, but I am SUPER EXCITED! I have done kittens with my sisters cat, but puppies/dogs are my kind of pet.

Well, that is all for now. I just wanted to GET THIS OUT THERE. My laptop turned off the first time, and the second time it froze and  my blog page shut down on me. So yeah. God bless and I hope you are having a good day/night. Ciao!

Haddie's Haven - Introduction To Me

Filming Today?

So my dad is planning to take a bunch of the family on a hike right after lunch, which is in a little while. Would this be the opportunity I was looking for? Possibly. I am just still stuck on what I should do for my first video, and I am still quite nervous to just talk out loud about random crap stuff in my haven. I will probably just be introducing myself and maybe talk about some things I am doing, or share my top favorites, I don't know. 

Of course, this is all assuming I am not needed to watch the little brother, which I most likely am. Maybe he can "be in the video". . . IDK, still nervously freaking out.

Haddie'sHaven - First Video Ideas

I have been thinking, if I am ever going to get the Haddie'sHaven Channel going, I am gonna need to at least have some ideas ready. So I thought I would just bounce a few ideas at you, and see which one strikes best. Which means, if anyone reads this post, please comment your thoughts. I would appreciate it.

Idea #1 - An introduction to Haddie's Haven, where I tell a little bit about me, what I like to do, etc.

Idea #2 - An Unboxing? I have entered quite a few giveaways, and they all involve me opening a box. There are no results for the one(s) I am keeping my eye on, not yet, so I hope to see them soon. Which brings me to my next idea . . .

Idea #3 - A giveaway, which would probably help get viewers, but I don't want people to feel that they have to watch my channel because they are gonna get something. I want people to watch because they want to. 

Idea #4 - Puppies Birth! Well, that would be a long and tiring video. I do not have a camera, but that would be an interesting way to start off Haddie'sHaven.

So those are my four ideas. I do not feel so bad that I do not have a fancy video editor. Reason: charlieissocoolike used WMM when he first started out, so . . . I'm a go for it. Also, he is an introvert just like me. And his video quality was not the best either. *British Accent* Charlie, your inspo for me. Please do not change who you :)

*normal voice* There is still the slight setback of finding a quiet place to film myself talking to absolutely nobody :3 I'll work it out. Sundays are the days I am most active, so my thought process will work better tomorrow . . . I think. . . :p I am such a dork, and I am happy to be extraordinarily optimistic about it.

Wattpad Magazines You Should Check Out

So, as most of you already know, I am in a few magazines on Wattpad.com, and I thought I would share them with you guys. I mean, you should totally check them out. It's free, and you do not need to make an account to read. 

The first magazine is called BelleMagazine - In this magazine, I write the Celebrity Spills column, which is known as Harper's Happenings. I also make the cover(s) for the issues, when the other designer does not get to it, or if they say I can do it.

 

Another magazine I am with is ChristianReaderMagazine - This is a Christian magazine, and it only has one issue out at the present moment, but we are working on the next issue.

MonochromeMagazine - We are just getting started with this magazine, working out final details and such. I am the cover designer, as well as Art Director/Executive. Yes, I am one of the head-honchos in this one. I am basically in charge of all the graphics designers that participate in this magazine.

And last, but not least, #HashtagMagazine - I created this magazine myself to gain a bit more experience as an editor, and I thought it would be fun. 

On another note, I won my first giveaway today! \o/ Yes, it was a giveaway from one of my fave. authors (Anne-Lae Vasquez) and I won a free copy of the Kindle version of The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins. I am so happy about that, because I was actually looking at the book the other day in the store, and I almost bought it, but I was not sure because I did not have any $$ with me, which stinks. But anyways, that was awesome. I cannot wait to start reading it. I hope to get some sort of device that will allow me to read all my Kindle books (331 books as of The Girl On The Train) and I forget they are there. So, yeah, I need to look for either a Kindle reader or maybe even an iPod Touch. Maybe then I can get my YouTube channel going. Because I think it is going to be revolving around what I do in my haven, which would include all the books I am reading.

New Updates

Good morning! Well, for this post I just wanted to let you guys know what is going on. 

As you know, I recently create a self-website, with a bunch of fun stuff and info about my stories, and my new youtube channel (Haddie'sHaven). I have several new chapters coming for some of my stories. The chapter that you can expect to be up ASAP will be chapter 18 of Scarred Hearts. I love where this story is going and I am loving writing it. I was planning to have this chapter ready over the weekend, but I was so busy, I did not have much time to work on it. 

I a planning my first video for Haddie'sHaven, but I am so nervous that I don't know if I will get around to it. Mainly because I was planning to do a giveaway, but of course I do not have the means to do a giveaway, so I am ditching that idea for now. I don't have a camera either, just the one on my laptop, so I don't know how good it would come out. AND I don't have a place to go to film the video, without being disturbed by everyone in my house. 

My lovely dog, Bella, is going to be giving birth to her puppies within the next week or so, and I am SO EXCITED! I have been getting things ready for her to whelp; I have a big box for her, and she is already used to going in it to lie down and stuff. Because Bella is a German Shepherd/Pit-bull mix, she could have a minimum of five pups in the litter. So there is a 50/50% chance that she could have more. Either way, I have a home ready for them to go to when they are weaned, and I am studying up. I will be prepped for anything!

So, the link above is my new website, which I have been working on since Friday. I am so happy with it, and I love how it came out. 

I also want to take the time to thank all the people who follow this blog. I truly appreciate it. I am going to try and make an effort to post most consistently, and perhaps more weekly or daily, IDK. I will work it out :)
