I Am WAY Too Creative!!!

Hello everyone!

Well, what can I say? I am just way too creative for my own good! I am trying to get this chapter going for Pictures of You, and getting Heart and Soul going. I should not be coming up with a new fiction right now. But I did, and I really want to move forward with it. However, I have decided to keep it "unrevealed" until Heart and Soul is moving along, and until Pictures of You is finished.

Anyways, this new fiction is definitely going to up my writing and hopefully reach a bigger audience, since I am trying a different genre. Um . . . I am 22 years old, so I should not feel weird about this particular subject, but I kind of do, and my mom would think I am losing my mind because I don't write about this thing. I will not give too much away, but I will give you some details on how I came into this idea.

You all know that I fell in love with A Noble Groom by Jodi Hedlund. That is the inspiration for the my plot, but I am bringing it to a more modern setting, along with a dystopian twist, or two. Along with the "most wanted" theme, there is going to be a major point in the story where a character has to choose between two options, of which I will not go into detail about. And the story basically follows both main characters for an entire year.

That is all I will tell you about that. *Sneaky-grin* So, yeah, I am too creative for my own good. I have been on pause learning about KDP and CreateSpace. I think it is good to take a break now and then. Too much information does not help me retain it. But I have been busy practicing formatting books to be ready for print. That has been a lot of fun. I am still very choosy of which book I will test print, but it will be so cool to see it in print.

What am I reading? - More Book Covers

So, one of my book orders arrived yesterday and I am already at page 248 of A Noble Groom. I love it. I keep telling my sister(s) and my mom not to let the cover fool them. Because the story is much more than "romance", which is what they think. I plan to have a full review posted on my book blog, if I get the time to sit and explain it.

I am working very hard on Pictures of You, and I L♥VE how it is coming out. I am also studying up on Create Space for my sister, so I am thinking about that for myself as well. I have been coming up with other stories to start when I finish the other ones I am working on. Here are the covers to get me motivated. Most of these you have already seen in my header of this blog. But now I have a few new ones.
Also, I do not have the time for NaNoWriMo, so I am just going to write during the month in my own time. Maybe I will finish another book next month. -Shrugs-

What is MLHarper22 up to?

Hey all! So, instead of just waiting for you guys to comment, I decided to just throw together this post with what I am up to on my OTHER Wattpad account, MLHarper22.

The covers above are only a smidgen of what I have posted on MLHarper22. I shall take great care to explain each story, along with their cover. Let's get started!!!

 Country and City series
Is my Little House on the Prairie fan-fictions. I use all the original characters from the TV series (and the books) but add my own characters as well. The first cover is the book I had completed two years ago, and only recently I have decided to continue the series.

The Roleplay
As the cover implies, yes, this book was a finalist in the 2013 WattyAwards! This book is a crossover-fan-fiction, and I wrote while going through my Alex Pettyfer/Justin Bieber/Nick Jonas phase of my teen years. Yes, this book is that OLD. I had written it when I was 14 years old, and had deleted it, but then re-uploaded it to enter it into the Wattys2013. Learning that this book was a finalist gave me the confident boost I needed to keep writing. I had thought I sucked at writing and was ready to give it up. Thank goodness, I didn't, and look at me now!

Genetic X
Was my first "paranormal-ish" book, and I have not gone back to recreate any more such writings. This book was written during the Twilight hype, and I was trying to be the cool girl who could create something similar, without bringing actual vampires/werewolves into play. I call my characters Shape Shifters. I made this quite clear when I posted the story, and I completed this book . . . last year. I still have the notebook I wrote it in, and I plan to make it better, when given proper time.

My Dear Emma
Sherlock Holmes Fan-Fiction/Romance

Yes, I went as far as writing a fan-fiction from one of my favorite books. Using my knowledge of the original story, and the twisted movie plot(s), I came up with a story that I quite enjoy. I have not finished it yet, but I am just waiting for the right time to get to work on it again.

  

My One Direction fan-fictions!! Now, all of these are complete, with the exception of It Takes Two, because I started posting that book only a few months ago. Eighteen was written for a contest, the week that Zayn Malik left the band. So, yeah, that would explain why it is quite . . . dark.

Other than that, my 1D fan-fictions are quite popular, from what I can tell. My readers on that account are very quiet, unless they leave me a ♥ comment, or something. The Mommy Direction was inspired by a few things, but I shall not elaborate on it.

   

My very first short stories!!!! So, yes, that would be the reason why the pen-name is different. I experimented pen-names until I found one I liked. Hadassah Harper. All remain unedited, to show my progress in writing.

Hard at Work!

Good morning lovelies! For the last few days, I have been busy around my house, taking care of home business, and also working hard on my book(s) and my book blog! Speaking of my book blog, I have a new review up for I Am Titanium by John Patrick Kennedy, SUCH A GREAT BOOK!

Now, onto business. On my other Wattpad account, I am working on writing a sequel to my Little House on the Prairie fan-fiction. One of my readers over there asked if I would think about writing another story like that, and I thought 'Why not?'  So, I posted the first chapter and I am working on the next chapter. Though I will be working on that (on the side), I am not going to halt my writing for Pictures Of You, as I now have two chapters sitting in drafts and will be posting them on a schedule. xD I am very happy with where I am headed in that book, and I hope the people reading it are enjoying it.

You all know that I have been working on this new book, and I am happy to say that I have come up with the final scene already. However, I am not going to reveal my final plans, because I think you all should check it out for yourself. I have three chapters posted, and a fourth undergoing editing.
I have three covers for this book, the one you see above was made by myself, and I have two more that I got from other Wattpad artists.

I was looking around ALL OVER the place yesterday for a tutorial on how to make the "If I Stay" style cover, and I have to say that the ones I did find were . . . complicated. I watched the tutorials and when i decided the method was too overbearing for me, I came up with my own method! See the gif below to watch the cover come to life!

Watch Me Work Magic!

I was testing my screen-recording software last week, and this is what I did. Please forgive the 1D music in the background, but then again, that is the reason I did the graphic in this video. It is in fact for a 1D story I had written a couple years ago. I hope you like this odd post, I will be posting once more before midnight strikes! :D

#SYTYCW15 Update . . . I'm on mushrooms . . .

LOL, no I'm not! I mean, yes, I ate a delicious mushroom gravy. xD I'm full of puns at the moment, but I'm not going to go all out and write a post of them. Or will I?

I'm just getting back on after letting my sister finish her tasks of the day. I typed 940+ words today, so I am not entirely behind. I just want to get to 1.5k before the end of the night. If I get more, great. The plan is to type 4.5k (more or less) for the next (three) chapters until I meet my final goal.

Anyone else notice that Demi Lovato went from rising like a skyscraper, to crashing down like an avalanche? O.O Yeah, decipher that one for a moment.

I've been writing very SHORT posts today. What the heck? Whatever, it don't matter. Tomorrow is a new day.

Not Even One Day . . .

And my sister got her hands on one of my books, and now the bookmark it came with is MIA. *face-palm*
It's alright, its in our room . . . Somewhere. I'm going to slow down on reading and try to start more typing today. I feel that I can hold off reading for today, but the current book I am reading is so good! I can't stop reading it, with the exception of the bare-necessities of life. *sings in Baloo's voice* - You can look through my Goodreads updates on the sidebar and you will meet Tru. ;)

I will elaborate in my next review. this is going to be a short post, because I woke up after 8:30 today. :3 see you all later!

Working On Other Stories

Because I am typing Scarred Hearts in my laptop, I am unable to work on it with pen and paper. So, to pass the time, leading up to now, I chose to work on a story that I have not touched in six months.

My story, Strong, is about a young woman who is falsely accused and sent to a detention center, and how she must keep her eye on God. This story is not my baby-baby, but it holds a spot in my heart. Because the topic I chose to write for the plot is based on an experience a friend of mine went through. I will go into great detail about it, as it is not something I choose to talk about, but the plot is for a more mature audience. Due to the fact that I chose to mention the use of drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and one of the characters makes brief mentions of innuendo. I do NOT write about such topics, but I felt it was necessary for this story. I still keep my distance from going to extremes with my writing, so I don't think it would really be too mature.

I made a new cover for this story, though I do not have much plan to update it during the #SYTYCW15. I want to use the majority of my time to work on Scarred Hearts to have it finished by the deadline, in September. I'm on a roll, and I can see me finishing it in time.

I got a few more books that I have to read this month, which I had requested before entering #SYTYCW15 on Wattpad. I managed to stop reading three, one of which I was reading to give feedback to the author before it gets published, and the other that is for a book tour in September. The one for the tour I put down. I will explain more in my review, so I don't give it away too early.

I may have taken on more than I can chew, but I am determined to do it all! xD Call it self-motivation to finish the massive plate of food that is set before me,though I am a lady and I tend to have some manners. (Will-I-Am would like that metaphor LOL)


Anyways, I've got some more typing to do. I am nearing 3k words for this chapter. Count your blessing people. You don't know how lucky you are until you start losing them bit by bit. God bless you. Ciao!

Today'Is A New Day

Good morning, how are all of you? I am well, thank the Lord. I slept like a brick, after two nights of waking up in the middle of the night, and going to bed late.

I have plans to start up my word counting again. I started last night, but was too distracted to keep going. Plus, it was kind of late, so that's okay. I wrote  . . . 3-400 words last night. So that is not bad, when you think about it. At least I did wrote something instead of nothing at all.

Today is "cleaning day", so everyone around me is trying to get chores and stuff like that going. I do the screens and fans, but the deal is that I can do those in the afternoon, while my sister is on my laptop. Points to me for putting that together. Imagine 15+ people hustling around the house, trying to get things going.

Today I also have plans to make a run to the mail box, and hopefully my next book is there, waiting for me. I added ten books to my 2015 Reading Challenge on Goodreads, because I did not expect to get that many books read, and I started in the middle of the summer. I'm actually back at the number I originally started with, 45. I lowered it, because I did not think I would get around to that many. So, little by little, I have raised the number by five, until yesterday, when I added 10. I had lowered the number to 15 books at the beginning.

I have decided to read all of Jenni James' books, however many chapters that are available, on Wattpad. She has her complete series posted (except for Beauty and the Beast) and each book stops somewhere, because her publisher said to keep some chapters on reserve. Promotional purposes. I loved The Twelve Dancing Princess! I loved the story, the characters, and the fact that is was a clean read. Clean reads are bae in my house, and it is kind of hard to come by them. Especially when you have tons of siblings who borrow your books. So, that is what I plan to do.

I also am hoping to get a Kindle (Paperwhite or Fire HD, whichever I get my hands on). I know I have said that before, but it is hard to do when I don't have an income yet. I'm working on that detail.

Well, I shall be back later. I am trying to finish my morning tech routine before I am called to do my usual sister duties. See you all later!

Reminiscing . . . Fangirl Has Not Left

So, I put my iTunes library on shuffle, and it is playing my 1D songs one after another. I think I may be playing the actual albums themselves, but I have not listened to them like this in so long. I miss the old songs. I mean, don't get me wrong. I love that the band wanted to change their sound. I feel a bit nostalgic.

Anyways, its has been raining almost ALL DAY! xD It's been so long since we had this much rain. God is sending the rain. Count your blessings.

I am just getting on my laptop, and I am going to try and do some writing. I've got a word count to multiply, and I am on a roll. I mean, I got that trailer uploaded, I'm working on some new cover prospects, and I have a very good feeling about Scarred Hearts. It is going to be epic.

TRAILER IS DONE!

Good morning special people! So, I found some really good clips, mostly of what I was looking for, and I managed to pull together a nice trailer. It will have to do for now. I am satisfied for now, and I shall continue to seek a trailer maker on Wattpad. I actually prefer to have more than one, because each trailer maker will get their work show-cased, and I like the different styles.

Anyways, I am actually writing this post the night before, because I did not know if the trailer would be uploaded before midnight. YouTube goes somewhat slow, but I am hoping the updates added speedy uploading.

The trailer will be posted below. It might not work at first. Do not fret, that is probably because it did not finish processing/uploading yet.

Headache Hangover

Now I know what you are thinking, but that is not what it is.

I went to bed with a harsh headache and now I am sort of suffering the ending parts of it. Not to mention one of my brothers is blowing up the pool with this awful machine that makes a horrible, high-pitched zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz noise. So, imagine an elephant sitting on the side of your head, and that sound is creating an atomic bomb-like feeling in your head. Can envision it? Let me help.

"I'm Up! I'm Up!"

It is not even 8:00am yet, but I had to be up in time to get a review posted by that time, and share it to the publisher and the author. So imagine my out-of-whack sleeping pattern since my outing on Wednesday. So, my usual early-bird behavior is kind of out the window right now, but I will be back on a normal sleep ASAP. Big families mean early risers.

Eggs. Who likes eggs? I love eggs, even though I have only begun to eat them around two years ago. All my life, leading up to my twentieth year (yes, I am 22, but who really believes that?), we never ate eggs or chicken in any form. (I binged now and then when it came to chicken, because I love chicken. Who doesn't?!) Finally, we added those items to our every day diet, and it has been awesome. I like to tease my siblings by make my egg-yolk VERY runny (and I know it is a form of eating an egg, because I have met people who like it that way as well). Speaking of eggs, I'm going to get make me some.

A Post From My Bed? #SorryNotSorry

So, this is going to be kind of odd, but I am still in my bed. Not feeling totally 100% awesome today. I will not go into detail, because who wants to know why my stomach decided to choose today of all days to pull jokes? I'm not going into it!

So that makes . . . nine . . . Yeah, I think nine giveaways I've won. Please let me know if you do not want to hear about this subject anymore. I am not trying to sound . . . . you know. It's just very exciting and I feel like sharing it with you guys, because I have run out of people to tell at home.

Which brings me to the next subject. In my house, if you say something to one person, the entire house has heard it within ten minutes. If you whisper: So and so is coming tomorrow "Who's coming tomorrow?!" is the question shouted from the other side of the house. Good luck keeping secrets in this family.

AND GUESS WHAT ELSE! I am on the run for a Barnes&Noble $25 GC, and I have a good feeling that I will be a winner. And guess what I found for cheep and in my budget on B&N!? The Books of the Infinite by R.J. Larson!!!

Good morning! A lovely day, is it not?

I am currently working on my graphics portfolio, adding and tweaking some odds and ends. It looks so cool! I decided to add a linked page to this blog. I feel the need to show it off.
