Week Re-Cap and more! | #CampNaNoWriMo2016 Day 17

So, yesterday I got to do a bit of writing. Normally my sister would have the laptop from the morning until the night. But she went with my mom to the airport to pick up my dad. She used it after they got home. I did not get straight to writing today, because I was catching up on emails that I got Saturday, but did not open them until Sunday after lunch. I had to throw together a few blog posts for Haddie's Haven, book blitzes, giveaways, etc.

I am passed the climax of my novel, but I still have a bit ways to go, if I am to finish it with a good ending. I was thinking about giving it a twist ending, but not sure how that would work. The character already passed their rocky times, they are getting back together while trying to glue everything back together. I think my writing is being influenced by the books I have been reading over the weekend, which would explain why I am thinking about the twist ending. Great plot tactics (cliffhangers, twist-endings, etc), but I don't want to use up too much from these influences, because then my writing in future novels would be too predictable. Nothing wrong with predictable story-lines, because I like being able to shout "I knew it, I knew it!"
What I mean is that I do not want to use up these tactics all at once. I want to spread them out in my writing.

Has anyone ever read A Million Little Snowflakes?
If not, then you better. I need someone to vent with about it!
Anyways, I will be posting a full review for that book on Haddie's Haven soon. I have a few that I want to share reviews for, as well as a few obligatory reviews that should have been up by now. But home life comes first, and things are finally getting back to normal, so I don't want to over think things and make plans if things get bumpy again.

I wrote quite a few words today. Not as much as I would usually, but it was enough to keep me ahead. I don't want this project to stumble. The fact that I am writing chapter 21 right now is amazing! I honestly cannot wait to share the next few chapters. I am still trying to see how much more I can add to meet the 60k word goal. I know I can, and I will not let anything bog me with the doubt that I won't finish.
